About

Award winning writer and filmmaker James Reford originally hails from Montreal. After attending The Stratford Chefs School he worked in restaurant kitchens for a number of years. He then decided to combine his passion for food and his love of writing. France and its culinary traditions have been of particular interest to him. His work has appeared in a number of publications including Gastronimica, and NUVO. His photographs have been used as part of a lecture series at the British Museum. Recently he began working behind the lens on a number of film projects. His films have won a number of awards. When he has the time James also likes to travel in order to indulge in local flavors. He remains an avid supporter of the Montreal Canadiens.
